BURONDI
Burondi (Dapoli T.; 17° 40' N, 73° 05' E; p. 3,880), a small port and fishing village, lying about six miles south of Harnai, is joined with Dapoli by a good bullock-cart road. A yearly fair in honour of Durgadevi, held in Chaitra (April-May), is attended by from 1,800 to 2,000 persons. The nearest railway station is Karad, 108 miles to the south-east.
